When it rains it pours. I was laid off from work yesterday. It came as quite a shock. I am not sure what I am going to do next. I really didn't think that I would be job hunting again so soon. Everything happens for a reason so I guess I should look at this as a blessing in disguise.

The upside of this is I now have time during the week to enjoy the wonderful weather we are having and get some serious mileage under my sneakers. I plan to go and walk at Sawyer Camp Trail this afternoon. Without any time constraints who knows how far I will go!

This weekend I am going to Napa to do a trail 10K with some friends. I am looking forward to getting away for a little while.

Training for this 3-Day has really helped me stay focused on the positives in life. Things will get better and for now I will be happy to work on the things I have control over.
