As of today I have way surpassed my goal of raising $4,000! I am at $4,080. Two weeks ago I was over $600 short and made one final plea to my friends and family. I am amazed by how generous people are. This truely will be a life changing event.

I am almost completely packed and getting very excited for Day Zero tomorrow.

This past weekend we had a send-off party with friends, family and neighbors. Lots of fun. Everyone signed our banner. I can't wait to read it on Night 1 at Bay Meadows. I better have the kleenex ready.

I am psyched and as ready as I'll ever be. Can't wait to lace up my sneakers on Friday and meet lots of other Purple Peeple (listserve members)!!
